What is is with these darned fleas!?
We have been getting SO many flea calls lately; it is ridiculous. Just hung up from my third call about 'em of the day.
The worst part is that some of the infestations are in apartments where there are not even any pets! That just does not seem fair... it's one thing to have to deal with them when you do choose to have critters - but when you don't, you should not have to!
They are a royal pain to get rid of too - have had to go to a 3 product approach this season, where last year, one was enough.

I have had that problem in the past. It seems that previous owners had pets with fleas. We were told that when the pets leave, the fleas lay their eggs in the carpets and baseboard cracks, and when they hatch, they attack the people living in that space since there are no pets to feed on. Not one hundred percent sure this is true, but it does seem to make sense.
